Flag of Yemen
The flag of Yemen has three equal horizontal stripes. The color of the stripes are Red, white and black from top to bottom.
The colors in the flag represent:
- Red for the blood shed.
- White for peace.
- Black for the dark past.
The flag was adopted by Yemen on May 22, 1990 symbolizing the unification of North Yemen and South Yemen.
