Flag of Ukraine
The flag of Ukraine has just two equal width horizontal stripes, sky blue at the top and yellow at the bottom.
The colors of the flag represent:
- Blue for the sky and water.
- Yellow for the rich wheat fields.
The flag was adopted on September 4, 1991 after the independence of Ukraine from Soviet Union on August 24, 1991.
