Flag of Turks and Caicos Islands

The flag of Turks and Caicos has a blue background with the United Kingdom flag in the top left quarter of the flag. The part of the national coat of arms is depicted on the right side of the flag. The coat of arms consists of a yellow shield with a cactus, a crayfish (lobster) and a conch placed on it. The cactus is placed at the bottom where as the conch and the crayfish are placed at the top.

The conch, crayfish and cactus are most commonly found in Turks and Caicos and hence, depicted on the flag. The UK flag depicts its ties with the British government.

The flag was adopted on November 7, 1968.
