Flag of Thailand
The flag of Thailand is divided into 3 equal width horizontal stripes. The central stripe is colored blue where as the stripes on either side are further divided into 2 equal width stripes. The stripes near the central blue stripe are colored white and the other two stripes are colored red.
The colors of the flag represent:
- Red for the blood shed.
- White for the religion i.e. Buddhism.
- Blue for the Thai monarchy. It is also the national color of Thailand.
The flag was adopted on September 28, 1917.
