Flag of Belarus

The national flag of Belarus is rectangular in shape with two horizontal stripes. The upper stripe is red in color which occupies 2/3 rd of the width and the lower stripe is green in color which occupies 1/3 rd of the width. A lean vertical stripe is positioned on the left (hoist side) region with white background and red Belarussian decorative design inscribed on it. The staff of the flag is painted in golden.
