Flag of Argentina
The national flag of Argentina is designed with three equal horizontal bars. The top and bottom bars are light blue in color whereas the central bar is white in color. A yellow Sun of May was added to the flag’s blueprint in the year 1818. The Sun is sculpted after the symbol of “Inti”, the Incan god of the Sun. The inception of the flag dates back to 1812. The complete flag characterizing the Sun is known as the Official Ceremonial Flag, whereas without the Sun, it is recognized as the Ornamental Flag.
