Flag of Saint Lucia
A similar version of the current flag of Saint Lucia was first adopted on 1st March, 1967. Before that, the design of the flag has varied, initially having a Blue Ensign with an Emblem. The flag then changed, still featuring the Blue ensign, but a different badge. It was after this, in 1967, that the Blue ensign was completely removed and a flag consisting of an isosceles triangle and an arrowhead was adopted. There was yet another variation to the flag in which the height of the central isosceles triangle was increased.
The current flag of Saint Lucia has a blue background, with a gold isosceles triangle below a black arrowhead. The surrounding upper edges of the black arrowhead have white borders.
