Flag of Macau

The flag of Macau has a light green colored field with a white lotus centered on the piece. Below the flower is a stylized Governor Nobre de Carvalho Bridge and water in white. Above the flower is an arc of five gold, five-pointed stars. The middle one is larger than the other four adjacent stars. The lotus was selected as the flowery symbol of Macau. The Governor Nobre de Carvalho Bridge is a bridge connecting the Macau Peninsula and the island of Taipa. The bridge is the major recognisable attraction for the country. The water below the lotus and the bridge indicate Macau's spot as a port and its part played in the country. The five five-pointed stars depict the drawing of the flag of the People's Republic of China, signifying the bond Macau has with its mother country.

The ratio of the flag is 2:3.
