Flag of Congo, Democratic Republic
The Flag of the Democratic Republic of Congo comprises of a teal background, divided by a red stripe with narrow yellow borders, stretching from the lower hoist corner of the flag to the upper fly corner. A yellow colored, five-pointed star is present on the upper hoist corner of the flag.
This flag was officially adopted by the Democratic Republic of Congo on 20th February 2006. It was a slightly modified version of the Flag that was flown between 1963 and 1971, the modification being the change in color from royal blue to sky blue.
